At UTMB, our Passion-Driven Service-Learning Programs (PDSLPs) connect students with community-based health initiatives that align with their personal interests and passions. These programs are more than volunteer opportunities—they're immersive experiences that allow you to engage deeply with underserved communities, expand your clinical understanding, and make a meaningful impact.

Passion-Driven Service-Learning Programs are structured, experiential learning opportunities designed for students passionate about health equity, community engagement, and interprofessional collaboration. These programs combine clinical service with reflection and learning, all while supporting long-term community health partnerships.
